In Memory of Prof. Dr Erol Üçer

Dr. Erol Üçer was a distinguished psychiatrist who made significant contributions to the field of neuropsychiatry and earned a respected place in the scientific community. He was the founder and honorary president of the Turkish American Neuropsychiatric Association (TANPA), an organization dedicated to fostering collaboration between Turkish and American scientists in addressing neuropsychiatric disorders.


Throughout his professional career, Dr. Üçer led numerous scientific endeavors and shared his clinical expertise with young psychiatrists and psychologists, guiding them toward success. He emphasized the universal nature of psychology as a profession and encouraged continuous learning. During his presentations at Üsküdar University in 2016, he highlighted the importance of patience and perseverance in professional life.
